Marna Rowe has a passion for aiding the change in the lives of others. Her diverse background and multifaceted experience provides a foundational framework for her counseling career. As a former educator, Marna has developed skill in communication, establishing rapport, interaction, and engagement. In addition, her work with multicultural, diverse populations, has aided her development of empathy and connectedness towards those she serves. Her initial call to teach led her to pursue degrees in English and Secondary Education; however, her desire would evolve into a more passionate mission, counseling. As a result, in 2015, Marna pursued a Master’s degree in Abnormal Psychology from the prestigious Harvard University.
Marna has a graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Mental Health Counseling at West Virginia University. Furthermore, Marna’s career endeavors include diverse paths that have shaped her current expertise. Along with her years in education, Marna’s career expands across various roles such as: academic counselor, education and life skills counselor, and logistics manager/transition coordinator, only naming a few. Within these roles, Marna was pivotal in creating change in the lives of the individuals she served.
Marna’s dedication, knowledge, and expertise will continue to make her a vital asset to the field of counseling.
