Mishawn Glover is a dedicated, Licensed Professional Counseling. Her passion for helping victims of trauma heal has helped guide her in a rewarding career. Glover holds a B.S. in Psychology along with an M.Ed. in counselor education, from Virginia State University. She is also certified in clinical anxiety treatment, family and youth trauma, and parent-child interaction training for traumatized children to name a few.
In addition to her education, Mishawn has extensive experience in her field. She began her career as a case manager counseling patients, offering guidance in skill development, as well as managing their assessments and treatment plans. Seeking more opportunities to serve, she began working with victims of domestic and sexual violence providing telephone crisis intervention counseling, and support groups. She also has experience developing coping strategies for individuals struggling with PTSD, substance addictions, and anxiety.
The culmination of her experience is an invaluable asset to her field. The empathy and dedication Mishawn demonstrates daily will continue to improve the quality of life for her community one client at a time.
