Nicole’s dedication to counseling has always been recognized by her endless work ethic in the community and assisting those in need. She is passionate about helping others create goals and manage a healthy lifestyle. Her diverse background and versatile experience provides a foundational framework for her counseling career.
Nicole discovered her passion for wanting to provide accommodations for individuals with disabilities while working with a mentor at Georgia State University, at the disability services center. Nicole obtained her Master’s degree in Education & Human Development, Rehabilitation Counseling from George Washington University.
Nicole is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) serving the Northern Virginia Area. She provides vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities specializing in psychiatric disabilities, substance use disorders, and cognitive disabilities. Nicole has experience in providing case management while working in a variety of clinical settings with adults of various ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Throughout her years in vocational rehabilitation Nicole has obtained experience in behavioral health while partnering with local community services boards in Northern Virginia. Nicole started out in other roles such as residential counselor, clinical and vocational intern, and employment specialist.
Nicole Hargraves is License as a Resident in Counseling by the Board of Counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is under direct supervision of Janell N. Johnson, LPC, ACS, WISA #0701007105 at Alive Rehab & Counseling LLC.
