About Yimin

Before transitioning into the mental health field, I practiced for many years as a surgeon in China, where I was deeply committed to improving patients’ well-being and saving lives through excellence, precision, and compassion. Today, I apply that same dedication to helping individuals heal emotionally and mentally through empathy, evidence-based practices, and holistic care.

Grounded in faith and guided by love, resilience, and compassion, I take a whole-person approach to counseling.

My Specialties

I work playfully and creatively with children, using their strengths to address anxiety, anger, and self-esteem within family and social dynamics. With adults, I support clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, acculturation stress, low self-esteem, and career or life transitions, empowering them with clarity, purpose, and practical coping skills.
